Late on Wednesday night, Soren had taken to social media to applaud the state’s health officials for achieving this recovery rate. “The number of fresh cases has come down in the last 20 days. It has been possible because of the efforts of corona warriors and the support of the common people,” Soren said.
On Thursday, Gupta announced that the state government will facilitate Covid-19 testing of patients identified with critical ailments. Gupta’s office, in a statement issued to the media, said these patients were identified in a door-to-door screening drive conducted between June 18 and 25.
