Haryana reports 4 Covid-19 deaths, 494 new cases

CHANDIGARH: With record 672 recoveries in one day, Haryana’s total recoveries count on Friday reached 11691 with a recovery rate rising to 73.06, even as 494 new cases and 4 deaths took Haryana’s overall COVID count to 16003 with 255 deaths.
With Covid-19 positive count rising to 5.65%, Haryana has total 4057 actives cases which include 59 critical patients out of whom 41 are on oxygen support.
The increased recoveries and has also raised the doubling rate in the state to 17 days now.
According to information, Faridabad and Gurugram have dominated to recoveries as well as new cases. On Friday, Faridabad had 393 recoveries and 156 new patients. Four deaths were reported from Faridabad district only. Faridabad overall count has gone upto 4184 and recoveries going to 3174 and overall deaths have gone upto 87.
In Gurugram, 130 new patients were added and 135 recoveries were recorded. Gurugram continue to top the table with total 5699 patients and 4426 recoveries. The district also has topped in the deaths with 96 fatalities, so far.
According to bulletin Sonipat had 46 new patients followed by 38 in Rewari district. 20 new patients were from Nuh, 16 from Jhajjar, 15 from Rohtak and 14 patients were from Panipat district. 10 new patients were from Sirsa, Nine from Mahindergarh and 8 from Karnal district.
Seven new patients have come from Seven patients have come from Palwal, Six from Charkhi Dadri . Four each have come from Kurukshetra, Kaithal and Ambala and three each have come from Hisar and Jind districts and one from Panchkula.
The testing rate in the state has gone upto 11300 testing per million per day in state as till now total 288478 persons have been tested out of them 267194 are found to be negative. Total 60534 persons have completed the quarantine period and currently there are total 45876 persons under observation.
