HYDERABAD: In two hauls, sleuths seized over 800 kilos of
ganja in
Khammam town and on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Friday.
Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) sleuths seized 357 kilos of ganja concealed in a secret compartment of a truck which was on its way to Maharashtra. The sleuths intercepted the truck near Isnapur on the city outskirts on Thursday night on Mumbai highway. The value of the contraband was put at Rs 71.3 lakh.
Khammam Task Forcecops conducted a search in
Srinagar Colony,
Khammam and seized 450 kilos of ganja worth Rs 1 crore. “The accused concealed the ganja packets in a secret compartment below the tractor-trolley of an associate,” police said.
