Hyderabad: Man booked for cheating job aspirant

HYDERABAD: Jubilee Hills police filed a case against G Mahesh, who claimed to be a CRPF constable, for allegedly cheating a railway job aspirant by promising to secure him a job.
M Abhinav Reddy, resident of Road No. 2, Jubilee Hills, filed a complaint with cops stating that he met Mahesh in Nellore, while pursuing a polytechnic diploma at Gudur Polytechnic College. Recently, Mahesh had came to the city and told Abhinav that he good contacts in the railway department and could secure a job for his elder brother if he paid Rs 5 lakh.
Believing him, Abhinav gave Rs 1 lakh in cash to him six months ago. However, after taking the money, Mahesh started avoiding Abhinav.
Two days ago, Abhinav lodged a complaint with the police against Mahesh. On Thursday, a cheating case was registered against accused.
