CHANDIGARH: The Congress Legislative Party (CLP) on Monday announced to constitute a 'shadow cabinet' to keep an eye on functioning of ministers of Manohar Lal Khattar-Dushyant Chautala led BJP-JJP government.
The legislators resolved this during the meeting of CLP which was called to discuss the state political scenario as well as general scenario in the state. The meeting was chaired by ex CM Bhupinder Hooda.
Hooda also discussed the steps to be taken for Baroda bye elections and the strategies to be adopted to expose alleged failures of the BJP-JJP led government in the state.

" The MLAs have divided the departments as well as ministries at their own . They shall prepare the list of failures as well as wrongs of the department and shall propage the same in their constituencies as well as digital platforms," said Bhupinder Hooda.
Referring to the cabinet decision of approving the draft bill for 75% employment in private industries to local youth, Hooda said that this was proposed and approved in 2014 and this issue is pending for implementation for the past six years.
"What about he other promises of JJP. What is the status of Rs 5000 monthly pension for aged. Infacct, the situation has become from bad to worst in the state. Crime, corruption and unemployment are at its peak. There is total anarchy," said Hooda.

Referring to preparation for Baroda bye elections, Hooda reiterated and dared the CM Khattar to contest the elections. "We are in a strong position in Baroda and our candidate will win the election with a huge margin. So far as CM is concerned, I was surprised to hear the language he used while referring to residents of Baroda. CM is statutory head of the state, it is inappropriate on his part to use such language," said Hooda.
Hooda further added that an in depth planning has been made to reach out to masses to aware them about failures of government.
Notably, Baroda bye election is due by October this year. The vacancy has come following the death fo Shri Krishan Hooda who represented this constituency thrice. This constituency is said to be the stronghold of Congress party.
