Health department: 124 active COVID-19 cases

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has confirmed 18 new cases Monday, bringing the total up to 349 positive patients since the pandemic began.

Health department director Kim Tedford says 124 of those patients are actively sick with the COVID-19 virus.

  • 64-year-old female (not hospitalized)
  • 67-year-old female (not hospitalized)
  • 33-year-old female (not hospitalized)
  • 17-year-old female (hospitalization unknown)
  • 41-year-ole male (not hospitalized)
  • 36-year-ole male (hospitalization unknown)
  • 17-year-old male (hospitalization unknown)
  • 18-year-old male (hospitalization unknown)
  • 52-year-old female (hospitalization unknown)
  • 31-year-old female (hospitalization unknown)
  • 22-year-old female (hospitalization unknown)
  • 47-year-old female (hospitalization unknown)

Epidemiology staff are still trying to reach out to some of these individuals, so their hospitalization status is unknown.

Seven Madison County Residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is currently on a ventilator.
