David Allen Renkenberger

David Allen Renkenberger, 72, of Wabash, IN, and having ties to Huntington, died Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 1:11 p.m. at Brookdale of Carmel.
Mr. Renkenberger graduated from Logansport High School in 1965, and received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from Indiana State University in 1969.
He lived in Wabash since 1971, coming from Logansport, IN. He worked at Wabash Metal Products (MPI), at Diehl Machines, Wabash Magnetics and Advanced Engineering in Huntington. He also worked part time at the Honeywell Center in Wabash for 26 years. He was a member of the Wabash Christian Church.
He was born Aug. 19, 1947, in Loganpsort to Robert F. and Mary E. Metzger Renkenberger. He married Belinda Kay Albright at the Ninth Street Christian Church in Logansport on July 12, 1969, and she survives.
Additional survivors include a son, Jeff (Christina) Renkenberger, of Austin, TX; a daughter, Christy (Melvin) Webb of Peru; and five grandchildren, Daymon Renkenberger, Devin Webb and Chloe Webb, all of Peru; and Margaret Renkenberger and Audrey Renkenberger, both of Austin, TX.
Calling is Wednesday, July 8, 2020, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 9, 2020, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Rev. Carolyn Reed officiating. Burial will be in Ever Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.
Preferred memorials are to Wabash Christian Church.
