The man killed in a head-on crash with an ambulance Saturday in Bethlehem Township was from Phillipsburg, New Jersey.

Stanley Suttle, 54, died as a result of blunt force trauma to the chest, Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek said Monday. His death was ruled an accident.

Tuttle was driving north on Route 33, near the Route 22 interchange, when he crossed into the oncoming lane about 3:30 a.m. and hit a Wind Gap EMS ambulance, state police said.

No one in the ambulance was hurt.
