Dr SG Narayanaswamy, district surgeon, said the woman, from Ettukodi in Malur taluk, gave birth to a baby boy at a hospital in Bagalur, near Hosur in Tamil Nadu, on May 5.
She returned to Ettukodi on June 6 and complained of fever on July 3. On Sunday evening, her swab samples tested positive.
