Vivo’s smartwatch gets Bluetooth SIG certified: Report
Chinese technology company Vivo may be gearing up to launch its own smartwatch soon in its native country. The company’s rumoured smartwatch was recently found listed in Bluetooth SIG certification platform, as per a report by GizmoChina. The name of the smartwatch is rumoured to be Vivo Watch. The device was also seen at the 3C certification platform earlier. Going by the Bluetooth SIG listing, the watch may be rolled out in the next month.
There are two models that appeared in the 3C listing: W2056 AND W2052.
These may be the two sizes of the variants. The Bluetooth SIG listing shows W2056 one. While the 3C listing hinted that the watch will have 5W charging, the newer one says Bluetooth 5.0.
Vivo had announced last year that it would be entering into the smart wearables category. As for the details about the watch, Vivo has kept everything under wraps.
The company recently launched the Vivo Y30 smartphone in India. It has been launched in a single storage variant that has 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and costs Rs 14,990. It can be purchased in two colour options — Emerald Black and Dazzle Blue-- via Flipkart.

For those who want more, they can install a microSD card of 256GB. Vivo Y30 comes with a 13MP+8MP+2MP+2MP quad-camera setup on the back. At the front, there is an 8MP camera.
