CHANDRAPUR: Five more Covid-19 positive cases were reported in
Chandrapur on Wednesday. The caseload of district increased to 133 after the administration included three
jawans of
SRPF who had tested positive late on Monday night into the tally.
As per the information provided by the health administration, the five new patients include a jawan of SRPF from
Kolhapur.
Three new cases include 60-year-old mother, 7-year-old granddaughter and 31-year-old housemaid of a positive patient from Urjanagar on the city’s outskirts.
The fifth patient is a 38-year-old person from
Mohbala in Warora who was in institutional quarantine after returning from Nagpur.
With 79 patients recovering and getting discharged, the district has 54 patients under treatment.
