Black Country drag star Baga Chipz has left Celebrity MasterChef fans utterly disgusted after admitting to enjoying a bizarre food habit.

The Celebrity MasterChef star, who competed in the first series of Ru Paul's Drag Race UK last year, appeared on the BBC cooking contest last night.

Baga, who hails from the Black Country and is inspired by Birmingham, was cooking up a storm for judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode.

But the drag act, who finished third in Ru Paul's Drag Race UK in 2019, left those tuning in at home utterly disgusted with a surreal admission.

The star - who last week confirmed she had lost out on thousands of pounds in bookings and gigs during the coronavirus crisis - was on Wednesday's episode.

During the show, we saw her grind pepper on her meals for the judges, before telling cameras: "I love pepper."

And to the horror of viewers, she ploughed on: "I don't know whether they'll like it but I love it.

"I have pepper on my cereal."

""I hope Baga Chipz is joking!" one Twitter user immediately responded.

A second said: "What did you just say?"

There were plenty of vomiting emojis across the social media platform, too.

Before her appearance yesterday evening, Baga told Metro earlier this week: "I was able to save up a bit.

"There’s queens out there who haven’t got my platform, and haven’t got the privilege to sell t-shirts and do online videos, and pay for personalised messages and all that. I’ve been doing all right and making a living still."

She added: "It’s financially hit me, but like I said, I can’t moan because I’ve got a lot more than I did this time last year."
