Man strangled by woman, paramour in UP's Sirsaganj
The arrested accused
AGRA: Sirsaganj police of Firozabad arrested a woman and her paramour for allegedly strangling her husband to death and then attempting to frame two innocent men for the crime.
According to police, victim Arjun Singh, an alcoholic, found his wife, Mohini, and her paramour, Surjeet alias Happy, in a compromising position on the intervening night of June 26 and 27 at their house at Nagla Sothara under Sirsaganj police limits.

Mohini was having an affair with Surjeet for nearly a year. When confronted by her husband, she and Surjeet allegedly strangled Arjun to death and threw his body elsewhere.
Next day, the woman lodged a written complaint against two men.
While probing the case, police repeatedly questioned the woman, who finally broke down and confessed the crime, police added.
