Good food and lots of activities has been the main reason for the expected increase in guests this weekend.

For the 27 families who ventured out to this renowned Coral Coast resort last weekend, word must have spread as latest enquiries may see management look at opening up more rooms.

Director Sales and Marketing Angela Hassan said compliments from last weekend’s guests centred mainly on the excellent food presented by the resort and the cleanliness and service provided by resort’s staff.

“They especially loved the a la carte breakfast that had been designed for the reopening of the resort in support of Tourism Fiji’s Love our Locals Initiative,” Ms Hassan said.

“For the children who came, it was great to see them enjoy themselves, especially around the kids’ swimming pool just before they went back to school.”

“Our guests were mainly families so we had something for everyone and made sure that the service rendered to them was of the same class as we gave to our overseas guests.

“At Naviti this has always been the same where every guest coming in to stay with us was given the same special treatment for which we are renowned for.”

Last weekend’s praise centred on the excellent food presented by the resort.

Ms Hassan said the locals who booked in last weekend tried their hands at kayaking, golf, paddling boards and archery.

“Our rates offered last week has not changed and we are expected a lot more people this weekend,” she said.
