CBSE class XII results: Grit and passion fuel students’ dreams

Prayagraj: The announcement of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class XII results spread a wave of cheer and happiness among students, who had been reeling under uncertainty about their future in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Among the students who excelled in the district, were three students of Delhi Public School who scored over 98%. Bagging a score of 98.8%, humanities student Chiransha Prasad topped in the school.
The 16-year-old student scored 100 marks in psychology and fine arts, besides 98 in English, history and political science.
“I believe a civil servant can bring about several positive changes in a country. I want to become an IAS officer and fulfil my dream of serving the nation,” she said. Her father is a serving army officer, while her mother is a homemaker. Two more humanities students from the school — Aanjana Tandon and Anushka Mohan Dwivedi — scored 98.6%. Aarushi Tripathi of the same school scored 94% marks. She is preparing for NEET. At Maharishi Patanjali Vidya Mandir (MPVM), Akshat Agarwal topped the school by scoring 98%. A resident of Kalyani Devi locality, he dreams of becoming a chartered accountant in the future. He scored 99 marks in accounts, 98 marks each in mathematics and English, and 97 marks in economics.
Another student of the school, Kanishk Srivastava scored 97.8 %. He is a student of science stream. The third topper from the school was another science student, Navya Gautam, who bagged 96.4%.
Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya’s IIIT Jhalwa branch Vijejesh Pandey said the school had a 100% result. Ritesh Bharti and Adarsh Singh topped in their school by scoring 95.2%. Navya Sonal stood second with 94.8%, followed Anjali Pandey and Harsh Gupta who got 93.4%.
At Phaphamau’s Ganga Gurukulam, the top position was secured by Kirti Kumar (PCM stream) and Animesh Srivastava (commerce stream) who both got 96.4%, followed by PCB student Divya who scored 96%. She scored 100 marks in biology.

Vibhav Malviya and Utkarsh Pathak were among the meritorious students from ML Convent School in Karela Bagh. They scored 94.8% and 94.6% respectively. Commerce student Ekta Yadav from the same school scored 92%. In Phaphamau’s Brij Behari Sahai International School, Satyam Shukla topped with 94.8%, while Arpit Kumar and Muhammad Waseem stood second and third by scoring 94.2% and 93.4% respectively.
At Dawn the Higher school, Vikas Yadav, Arijeet Sarkar and Utkarsh Pandey were among the top scorers. They scored 93%, 92% and 90% respectively.
