HYDERABAD: The free Covid-19 testing centre for the residents of cantonment area at Tadbund is witnessing a huge rush. The testing centre was set up by the Secunderabad Cantonment Board and Telangana medical and health department a couple of days ago.
Till date, the centre has collected samples of 51 people of which seven have been found to be positive. The medical team has suggested the patients to remain under home quarantine.

“But, we have asked the patients, who require treatment through oxygen cylinders, to admit at hospitals,” in-charge medical officer Dr Avanti told TOI.
The Covid-19 tests for the people have been restricted to 25 per day.
Every day, new positive cases have been reported in the Secunderabad Cantonment and according to medical and health department’s official records, the number has crossed the 100-mark.
