Uttar Pradesh: SSP Kanpur among 15 IPS officers shifted

LUCKNOW: The Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday shifted 15 IPS officers, including Kanpur SSP Dinesh Kumar.
Ayodhaya SSP was transferred ahead of Bhoomi Pujan for temple foundation on August.
The state government has also shifted Amethi SP Khyati Garg.
"The changes were done after back-to-back incidents in Kanpur and a mother-daughter duo from Amethi attempted self-immolation outside the CM's office," said officers at the DGP headquarters.
SSP Kanpur Nagar Dinesh Kumar P was sent to Jhansi in the same capacity while Preetinder Singh who was posted as DIG Aligarh range was made the new DIG/SSP of Kanpur Nagar. This is the second change in Kanpur in the last two months.
IG Traffic, Deepak Ratan was made the new IG Aligarh range and Pradeep Kumar who was serving as SP Jhansi was made SP EOW in Varanasi.
Similarly, ahead of Bhoomi Pujan for Ram Temple, SSP Ayodhaya Ashish Tiwari was shifted as SP railways in Jhansi district while DIG Chitrakoot Dham range Deepak Kumar was posted as DIG/SSP Ayodhaya.
Whereas, K Satya Narayan, who has returned from deputation, made the new DIG Chitrakoot Dham range.
SP Amethi Khyati Garg was made DCP (Central) in Lucknow police commissionerate while DCP Central, Dinesh Singh was made the new SP Amethi.
Similarly, SP Jalaun, Satish Kumar was made the new Commandant of SDRF while Yashvir Singh was appointed as new SP Jalaun.
SP Kheri, Poonam was made the new commandant 15 battalion PAC, Agra and Satendra Kumar was made the new SP Kheri, he was shifted from EOW.
While, Ashutosh Kumar, who was DIG Basti Range, attached to the PAC headquarters in the same capacity while Anil Rai who was serving as DIG PAC was made the new DIG Basti.
