TN: Prime Minister interacts with Namakkal school student, greets her father in 'Mann Ki baat'
Kaniga said that she is not having any words to describe about the interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
COIMBATORE: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with Namakkal based school student N Kaniga who scored 490 marks out of 500 in her Plus Two examination in CBSE. The Prime Minister was addressing to the nation through the radio programme ‘Mann Ki baat’ on Sunday and he greeted the father (a truck driver) of the student for taking care of the student and her elder sister (an MBBS student).
He also mentioned that the girl’s father is an inspriation for all.
He also mentioned in his speech that he thinks of Anjaneyar temple when he heard of Namakkal and herefafer he will aso remamber the interaction with the student.
SK Natarajan, a truck driver is residing along with his wife R Jothi and two daugherrs N Shivani and N Kaniga at EB Colony in Namakkal. His studided upto class X. His elder duaghter Shivani is studying third year MBBS. His younger daughter N Kaniga scored 490 marks in her plus two examinations.
Kaniga told TOI that she is not having any words to describe about the interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Prime Minister interacted with me over phone for more than two minutes on Friday and he asked how you made the success in plus two examination. I replied to Prime Minister that I worked hard to score good marks and my family supported me. He also asked me about my favourite subject and i replied him that mathematics is my favourite subject and I also told him that I want to become a doctor. This is my ambition," said Kaniga.

"I told prime minister that my father Natarajan is a truck driver and my elder sister Shivani is a third year student of MBBS," she added.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Modi mentioned in his speech in the Mann Ki baat on Sunday about Kaniga and her father. He appreciated the student’s father Natarajan for his great service for making his daughters to educate well and also added that inspiration for all.
After the Mann Ki baat programme, many people came to know about Natarajan and his family members. “We are really happy after Prime Minister interacted with our daughter. We thanked our Prime Minister to make us proud,” said Natarajan.
