Two men stab auto driver to death over Rs 200, arrested
Ghaziabad: Two persons were arrested on Saturday for allegedly stabbing to death an auto-driver on the night of June 17 in Loni’s Ashok Vihar. Police investigation revealed that the deceased, Maheen Uddin, was killed over a dispute of Rs 200 when the two customers did not pay him for the ride.
The accused have been identified as Aftab and Monu, both residents of Loni.

On the morning of June 18, locals had found the body and informed the police. Later, the deceased was identified as a resident of Delhi who worked as an autorickshaw driver.
SSP Kalanidhi Naithani said during the investigation it was found that Aftab along with Monu went to take some money from his mother who used to live in Delhi as he lost his job after the nationwide lockdown. His wife, Sabana, told TOI that after the lockdown was announced, there was no income. They have been booked under IPC Section 302 (murder). They were produced in a district court that sent them to jail. Police said the deceased is survived by his wife and his two children.
