Shelby Tribble has admitted that her once "perfect" pregnancy has now turned into an uncomfortable experience.

The TOWIE star, 27, is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Mucklow as she revealed she's reached the 27-week mark of her pregnancy.

And she candidly told fans the experience of awaiting her precious bundle of joy hasn't been all that flattering.

The expecting mum said she's been suffering from swollen ankles, chafing and heartburn.

Shelby said she's dealing with major discomfort when it comes to her body in an honest caption alongside a sweet snap of her cradling her blossoming baby bump on holiday.

The reality TV star penned: "27 weeks today," alongside a baby and a heart emoji.

"Although I may look glam and have had the best pregnancy you can wish for... the heartburn, swollen ankles/feet, back ache, leg cramps and chafing are all staring to play their parts."

The mum-to-be looked radiant in a frilly green bikini as she hid from the sun rays.

Shelby showed off her sunkissed pregnancy glow as she relaxed on a sunlounger for the snap.

The brunette beauty confirmed back in May that she's expecting a baby boy with Sam in a sweet Instagram post.

They appeared to be hosting a gender reveal party at home and shared a video of the unique way they made the announcement.

In the clip their family and friends counted down from ten before the couple unzipped a sheet, uncovering a clothing rail full of blue clothes, blankets and balloons.

At the end of the video they shared a kiss while their loved ones cheered.

The gender reveal came just one week after the pair announced they're expecting, after sharing a gorgeous picture of themselves holding their scan as they sported huge grins.

They both captioned the post: "Something fantastic is making us glad, we're changing our names to Mum and Dad."
