She was summoned by the agency who is investigating the money-laundering angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. The ED got involved after Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh lodged an FIR in Rajiv Nagar Police Station in Patna, where he alleged that Rhea and her family pocketed Rs 15 crore from the late actor's account, harassed him and pushed him to kill himself.

Today, ED questioned Showik Chakraborty for about 18 hours in connection with a money laundering case linked to the late actor's death.
