On cam: MP manhandled by villagers in Bihar, chairs hurled at him

Dramatic visuals! A BJP MP was manhandled by villagers in Bihar's Siwan district. The BJP MP from Bihar's Maharajganj and his supporters faced outrage from the local villagers during a visit. The villagers claim that the MP or any other authority did not provide any help when the flood situation was intense there. The angry villagers attacked the MP and hurled plastic chairs at him and some of his supporters were thrashed. Relevantly, the flood situation in Bihar remained grim as 87,000 more people were affected by the deluge. The total number of flood-affected people in the state has risen to 74 lakh, while deaths caused due to the deluge stood at 23.
