Odisha plus two result 2020: CHSE Odisha announces HS results of science stream, 70.21% qualify

The Odisha Board has made the Odisha plus two results available online and SMS for public access.

NEW DELHI: Odisha plus two result 2020 for Science stream has been unveiled today by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) at 12.30 pm. The overall pass percentage of the Odisha plus two result for Science stream recorded at 70.21%.
Nayagarh district secured highest passing percentage of 86.51% while Jharsugyda district marked the lowest pass percentage of 40.71%.

Last year the pass percentage of Odisha plus Science result was 72.31%. Announcing the results, minister said the reason for 2% drop in result was due to emphasis on 100% CCTV coverage in exam centres.
The school and mass education minister Samir Ranjan Das announced Odisha higher secondary results for the Science stream through a video conference due to the pandemic situation.

The Odisha result for Science stream is now available on the official website of the Board CHSE — chseodisha.nic.in. Along with the Board’s website, the results can be accessed on the Odisha Result portal — orissaresults.nic.in.

Odisha plus two Science result 2020: Highlights
* The Odisha plus two Science result declared around 11.45 am today i.e., August 12, 2020.
* The passing percentage of Odisha plus two Science results recorded at 70.21%.
* Compared to last year, there is a drop of 2% in the passing percentage of Odisha HS Science result 2020.
* Boys outperform girls with 39% pass percentage while 31% girls passed.
