“More people are using digital technology and tools, leading to an acceleration in adoption and consequently, us investing in a larger team. We are also expanding our machine learning and data science team,” said Archit Gupta, founder, Cleartax.

Worldwide more companies are using technology and the same is happening in India, said Gupta, pointing out that Cleartax is one of the few domestic Saas companies. They are primarily hiring in engineering product and design, leadership roles, architects, engineers. They are also making offers at various engineering colleges including the IITs.

Hiring will span talent across India and overseas. The maturing of the Indian ecosystem as well as the protectionist stance taken by the Trump administration is leading to many Indians settled abroad wanting to return to the country. “We are getting leads from our network and making offers to some of them,” said Gupta.
