Indiana police issued a statewide Silver Alert early Thursday for a missing 10-year-old girl.

Adrianna J. Mendez was last seen around 12:30 a.m. in Fort Wayne, police say. She is 4 feet 3 inches tall and weighs roughly 100 pounds. Mendez also has brown hair with brown eyes, according to the alert.

Police say “Adrianna is believed to be in extreme danger.”

She was last seen wearing a pink top with black sleeves and black pajama bottoms with pink stars.

Indiana passed a law in 2018 that added: "missing endangered child" to the criteria for a Silver Alert.

The Fort Wayne Police Department is investigating.
