Sushant Singh Rajput death case: Rhea Chakraborty has no objection if Supreme Court transfers SSR’s case to CBI

Rhea Chakraborty, in her written submission to the Supreme Court, on Thursday, stated that she will not object if the investigation into the death of her late boyfriend and Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation in exercise of its powers under Article 142 of the Constitution. The actress, however, maintained that such a transfer at the behest of Bihar Police is wholly without jurisdiction. Rhea, against whom Sushant's father had filed an FIR for 'abetment to suicide' and alleged cheating, among other criminal charges, has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to transfer the FIR from Patna to Mumbai. On August 11, the top court had reserved its verdict in the actress' plea.
