Disha Salian's father files complaint against three men for spreading rumours about her

In a fresh development in Disha Salian's death case, her father, Satish Salian, has filed a written complaint against three people for spreading rumours about Disha's death. The police have taken the complaint very seriously and are taking legal opinions on how to take the case forward. Mumbai Police officials have recorded statement of Disha's father and, very likely, FIR will be filed against three people.

There are several WhatsApp forwards, conspiracy theories and social media posts linking Sushant Singh Rajput's death with Disha Salian's death. Several politicians too have alleged that there is a link between the Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian deaths.

Satish Salian has registered his complaint at Malvani Police Station in Mumbai, saying that three people have defamed her daughter and spread many rumours about her. Satish Salian, in his complaint, has mentioned how these social media posts have caused mental harassment to his family. Several fake stories have been put up by three people, Satish Salian said in his complaint. Salian named three people in his complaint: Puneet Vasishtha, Sandeep Malani and Naman Sharma.

In the complaint, Satish Salian mentioned that how these men posted negative stories and rumours about Disha Salian, which are hurting them badly. He has asked the police to take action against the three men.

Sources in the Mumbai Police said that they are taking the complaint by Satish Salian very seriously. The police are taking legal opinions on the matter. The police are very likely to file an FIR in the matter. The IT act and IPC sections will also be added in the FIR. After taking proper legal opinions, cops will register an FIR and later summon the these aforementioned men to investigate the matter.

Reinvestigation by cops

Amid all the rumours and social media theories linking the Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput death cases, the Malvani Police, who are investigating the Disha Salian death case, have reopened the case. A DCP-level officer is personally monitoring the case, and conducting inquiries. As of now, in the reinvestigation, the police have not found anything suspicious in the case. However, the case is still open and cops are investigating further. The police have taken statements of Disha Salian's fiance Rohan Roy and her friends twice.

The Malvani Police Station investigating the Disha Salian death case have CCTV footage from Regent Galaxy building in Jankalyan Nagar, Malad West, where Disha Salian died. CCTV footage from the building, from the day Disha Salian came to the building till the time she died, are all with the police. Disha came to the building on June 4. The cops said Disha never stepped out of the apartment.

The police have also taken statements of neighbours and the building's watchman. Moreover, the police have taken out details and recorded statements of each and every person who came to building from June 4 to June 8. All of them are in contact with Malvani Police Station. There is no politician or Bollywood actor in that list.
