Late rapper Juice WRLD appears as an animated figure in the official music video for "Smile," a collab with The Weeknd.
In the video, the animated version of Juice is seen walking through a field of flowers and butterflies as he wonders what to do to make his lover smile. Later in the video, Juice grows a pair of white angel wings as his girlfriend looks at his picture sadly.
"I'd do anything in my power to see you just smile/I want you to prosper and come proper/Even if that means I ain't by your side/I'd do anything in my power to see you just smile," croons Juice in the hook of the song, apparently speaking about a lover whom he wishes to make happy, though he doubts his capacity to do it himself.
The Weeknd had dropped "Smile" on August 7, as the sixth single from Juice's posthumous third studio album Legends Never Die, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart last month.
Juice WRLD died in December 2019 at the age of 21.
