The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the CBI, who is probing the Sushant Singh Rajput's death case in Mumbai, will confront Sushant's friend Siddharth Pithani and the late actor's three staffers, these include his cook Neeraj Singh, his second cook Keshav and housekeeper Dipesh Sawant. The CBI will confront them for the first time to resolve the inconsistencies in their statements.

The first round of confrontation will be between the group of two-two people. Later, all four will be confronted together. According to sources, even after several rounds of questioning and recreation of the suicide scene, there are some inconsistencies in their statements about the events of June 13 and June 14. Sushant died by suicide on June 14. The late actor's former accountant Rajat Mewati will be grilled separately.

Apart from this, the CBI is likely to question Rhea Chakraborty, who remains a prime suspect in the case. The CBI will call the actress to inform her about the summon. Her statement is likely to be recorded either at her home or at the DRDO facility, where the CBI team is staying in Mumbai.

Today (August 25), is the fifth day of CBI investigating Sushant's death case. On August 5, the Centre told Supreme Court that they have accepted the Bihar government’s recommendation to transfer the case to CBI. The SC verdict came out on August 19, and the CBI was given full control of the investigation.

On July 25, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh filed a complaint in Patna’s Rajiv Nagar Police Station against Rhea Chakraborty. He accused her of taking Rs 15 crore from the actor and of pushing him to commit suicide.
