Rewa needs to beat Nasinu this Friday at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori to stay in the Vodafone Vanua Championship competition.

After a scoreless draw against North Bulls in round one, Rewa lost 21-30 to Northland at Garvey Park, Korovou yesterday.

Rewa led 21-13 at halftime but Northland staged a fightback and was awarded a penalty try for their first win.

“We play Nasinu next possibly at Ratu Cakobau Park on Friday and it’s a must-win game for us, “Rewa Rugby secretary Petero Kaveni said.

“We need to win to stay in the competition.”
