Gadchiroli guardian minister donates Rs 5 lakh to martyr's family

Guardian minister of Gadchiroli Eknath Shinde donated Rs 5 lakh to the family of martyred jawan Dushyant Nandeshwar on August 31 on behalf of his party Shiva Sena. Shinde toured the tribal district of the fag end of eastern Vidarbha for two days to assess it's flood-related damages and monitor rehabilitation.

NAGPUR: Guardian minister of Gadchiroli Eknath Shinde donated Rs 5 lakh to the family of the martyred jawan Dushyant Nandeshwar on August 31 on behalf of his party Shiva Sena. Shinde toured the tribal district of the fag end of eastern Vidarbha for two days to assess it's flood-related damages and monitor rehabilitation.
Nandeshwar was killed last month after being shot dead by a Maoist Action team at Koti while another had been injured in the attack.

Shinde, accompanied by SP Shailesh Balkawade, spoke at length with the martyr jawan's family. He assured them of all possible help and also facilitate prompt disbursal of the benefits from the government for the martyred jawan's family. Government extended monetary and other relief to the tune of more than Rs 1.08 crore to the nearest kin of the martyrs.
It's during Shinde's visit to the martyr's family, he asserted that he would not allow their sacrifice to go to vain while expressing his gratitude for the ultimate contribution by the security personnel in the fight against Maoist. The guardian minister had his eyes moist while interacting with the jawan's family especially wife and mother.
