Telangana: Khammam sees 699 new Covid-19 cases

HYDERABAD: Khammam district recorded its highest single-day Covid-19 cases with 699 people testing positive on Wednesday.
The number includes 110 cases detected at the Covid Care Centre at Sharada College.
A total of 2,591 samples were collected for Rapid Test Antigen (RAT) tests, out of which 589 were positive in the district. From those who tested positive earlier and were given treatment, 175 got discharged on Wednesday.

As many as 87 patients are in the isolation ward.
