IBPS RRB prelims exam 2020 postponed

IBPS RRB preliminary exam has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. The revised date of the exam will be announced later.

NEW DELHI: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has postponed the IBPS RRB preliminary examination due to unavoidable circumstances. Earlier, IBPS RRB preliminary examination was scheduled to be conducted on September 12 and 13, which has now been postponed.
Issuing a notice on Monday, the director of IBPS said “Further to our Notice dated 10.08.2020, due to some unavoidable circumstances, it will not be possible to hold the Online Preliminary Examinations under CRP-RRB-IX on 12.09.2020 and 13.09.2020.”
IBPS will release the revised dates of IBPS RRB exam.
The official notice released in this regard reads that “Revised dates will be posted on the authorised IBPS Website. Candidates are requested to visit the authorised Website www.ibps.in regularly.”

Notice on IBPS RRB preliminary exam postponement
IBPS is conducting this recruitment drive to fill up vacancies in the Group A Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group B - Office Assistant (Multipurpose).
Two tier online examinations will be conducted for the posts of Officers Scale I and Office Assistant (Multi-purpose) — preliminary and main. For the post of Office Assistant (Multi-purpose), candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for the main examination. They will be provisionally allotted based on the marks obtained by them in the main examination and the vacancies reported by the RRBs.
For the post of Officers Scale I, candidates who qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with appropriate authority.
