TRICHY: The Ariyalur district administration on Monday conducted the weekly
grievance meet online on Google Meet.
The conduct of weekly grievance redressal had remained suspended for more than five months due to
Covid-19.
The link for the
online meeting was posted on the district administration’s official website www.ariyalur.nic.in.
While people with devices like a smartphone or a laptop or a desktop with internet access can raise their grievance directly to the district collector, rural population without internet access can avail technical support free of cost at e-Seva centres nearby.
On Monday, 14 online grievances were received. The administration expects the patronage to surge in coming weeks.
“From next week, we will dedicate 30 minutes exclusively for persons with disabilities (PWD) to submit their grievances. There are 35 e-Seva centres across the district. Technicians will be available there for the rural people to help them join the online meet,” district collector
D Rathna said.
The district administration will hold the online grievance meet every Monday, from 10am to 1pm.
