$94 million jackpot-winning Powerball ticket sold in New York liquor store

A $94 million jackpot-winning Powerball ticket has been sold at a liquor store in New York.

The golden ticket was purchased at Minogue’s Beverage Center on Route 9 in Malta, just north of Albany, officials said Thursday.

The drawing Wednesday night revealed the winning combination as 10, 17, 31, 51, 53 and the red Powerball, 01, according to the New York Lottery website.

The newly minted multimillionaire chose the quick pick option, meaning the winning numbers were drawn at random.

A $2 million second-prize ticket was sold in Texas, with all five numbers matching but not the Powerball. That winner selected the Powerplay option, doubling the $1 million prize.
