A Snohomish High School classroom was accidentally exposed to graphic porn during an online classroom session. It was the result of an online prank.
Students on Twitter, using the hashtag #Zoombomb, tweet out the Zoom information for their classes. The tweets include meeting ID numbers and pass codes. Then, a prankster takes the information, logs into the Zoom meeting and Zoombombs the class.

Zoombomb pranks hit Snohomish County
At Snohomish High School, the Zoombomber showed “male on male oral sex images and horrifying and vulgar language,” according to one parent of a student, posting to an online community Facebook page.
Previously, someone joined one of the classes and told the teacher to “shut up” over and over again.
The mom says she was “told by the school district office there is no way to 100% prevent this from happening again.” She says she and her husband are “mortified” and are now looking for an “alternative to school Zoom classes.”
Other schools in the district have been hit by similar pranks, though not all graphic. One mom in the district said her son’s 7th grade class was hacked this week, with the prankster playing vulgar music.
The pranks aren’t always initiated on Twitter. Sometimes classmates share the information with friends. And this issue isn’t exclusive to Snohomish County, with similar instances occurring across the country.
