Haryana: 104 cases settled in Ambala Lok Adalat

AMBALA: A Lok Adalat was conducted at the district court, Ambala and sub-division Naraingarh in district on Friday under the chairmanship of additional district and sessions judge and executive chairman of district legal services authority (DLSA) Rajneesh Bansal.
Rajneesh Bansal, acting president DLSA said that in this Lok Adalat, in addition to cases related to vehicle accidents, family disputes and criminal cases, the pre litigation stage cases were also taken up.

He said in these cases, 6 cases related to vehicle accident, 9 cases related to banks, 12 cases related to family dispute, 8 cases related to civil case, and 69 cases related to criminal cases were settled. He said in the case related to vehicle accident, an amount of Rs 3,11,293 was compromised.
Secretary, Ambala DLSA chief-judicial-magistrate Danish Gupta said that Lok Adalat are a means of cheap and easy justice and disputes are settled with mutual consent which promotes the spirit of brotherhood.
