Telangana Martyrs Memorial to be completed within six months

HYDERABAD: The Telangana government has set a target of completing the construction of Telangana Martyrs' Memorial on the banks of Hussain Sagar lake within six months.
Roads and buildings minister V Prashanth Reddy inspected the ongoing works of the memorial on Friday and said chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is desirous of make it a tradition for the visiting dignitaries including the President, Prime Minister and others to pay their respects to the Telangana martyrs at the memorial.
The parking lot is being designed to accommodate 350 cars and 600 two wheelers and the memorial building is being built in three lakh square feet.
The first floor will accommodate a museum, a photo gallery, a meeting hall and an art gallery, all depicting the sacrifices made by the people for the cause of syatehood to Telangana.
A world class convention hall where national and international level meetings may be conducted will come up on the second.floor with eateries on the the third floor.
