Las Vegas Aces Lose Game 1 Of Playoffs

The Las Vegas Aces lost to the Connecticut Sun 87-62 Sunday in Game 1 of the best-of-five WNBA semifinals. Game 2 is tomorrow.

The WNBA announced Sunday that Las Vegas’ Dearica Hamby won the sixth woman of the year award for the second year in a row, and Aces general manager Dan Padover was given the executive of the year award.

This comes on the heels of Aces star A’ja Wilson being named the WNBA’s Most Valuable Player. Wilson received the award after leading Las Vegas to an 18-4 record and top seed in the league's playoffs.
