A caring nana who couldn’t see her grandkids during lockdown has been thanked for her kindness.

Caitlin, Sarah and Ryan Milligan wanted to thank Gail Milligan for her hard work and support during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

The kids’ mum, Lorna Cannon, said: “Gail found it really hard not being able to see the kids during lockdown.

“We live in South Lanarkshire and she is in North, which made it even harder for her to see them.

“She was on FaceTime constantly talking to them and seeing how they were keeping.”

As well as checking up on her precious grandkids, Gail was regularly helping out in the community.

This included getting shopping and other essential items for her neighbours.

Lorna said: “Her neighbour was shielding so Gail took it upon herself to make sure she was safe and had groceries and things in.

“She has a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone and never ask for anything in return.”

When the family got in touch with us and wanted to show Gail their appreciation, we were only happy to help. We provided these flowers courtesy of our friends at Pixies Petals.

Lorna added: “She is the best nana in the world and deserves to be recognised for everything she has done for us all.

“She is great with the kids and they love going to see her.”
