14 New Deaths, 1,164 New COVID-19 Cases In Oklahoma

Oklahoma health officials reported 14 new deaths on Tuesday, bringing the state's total to 962. They are as follows:

  • Two in Creek County, one male in the 36 - 49 age group and one female in the 65 or older age group.
  • Two in Oklahoma County, two females in the 65 or older age group.
  • Two in Wagoner County, one female and one male in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Canadian County, one male in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Grady County, one female in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Mayes County, one male in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in McCurtain County, one male in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Rogers County, one female in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Seminole County, one male in the 36 - 49 age group.
  • One in Tulsa County, one male in the 65 or older age group.
  • One in Woodward County, one male in the 50 - 64 age group.

There were also 1,164 new cases of COVID-19 reported. The state has seen a total of 79,072 positive cases since March.
Oklahoma has reported 7,758 new cases and 48 deaths due to the coronavirus in the past seven days, an average of 1,108 cases and seven deaths per day.

65,482 people — more than 82 percent of the total cases — have since been classified as having recovered from the virus. 628 Oklahomans are currently hospitalized as either confirmed positive COVID-19 cases or under investigation for the virus.

There are 12,628 active cases in the state. Oklahoma County has the most active cases with 2,383, followed by Tulsa County with 1,488, Cleveland County with 873 and Woodward County with 826.

Payne County with 388, Canadian County with 349, Garfield County with 328, Craig County with 315 and Grady County with 312.

Rogers County with 274, Muskogee County with 273, Cherokee County with 249, Pottawatomie County with 228 and Pittsburg County with 223.

LeFlore County with 199, Custer County with 176, Comanche County with 174, Beckham County with 174, Bryan County with 172, Sequoyah County with 162, McCurtain County with 154, Creek County with 145, Wagoner County with 143, Kay County with 140, McClain County with 132, Texas County with 129, Adair County with 129, Ottawa County with 115, Okmulgee County with 113, Mayes County with 105 and Caddo County with 104.
