Emmerdale teen Gabby Thomas has been struggling recently, after her mother Bernice Blackstock moved away to Australia without her.
Feeling like she doesn't fit in with her stepmother Laurel Thomas' family, and that her friends aren't around, she recently tried to flee.
She also sparked concern in recent scenes as she hit the bottle, before failing to return home after a night out.
When she did return, Laurel tried to get through to her and find out what was happening.
But amid this and previous goings on, Gabby has struck up a friendship with Leyla Harding.
Leyla was horrified when she learned it was Gabby who was stalking her, and who had trashed her work office recently.
After learning the truth, Gabby claimed it was all down to her starting up a romance with Bernice's boyfriend Liam - with Gabby believing this was the reason her mum did not want to come back.
Leyla felt bad and tried to bond with the teen, even taking her on as an apprentice at Take A Vow.
Since then the girls have become close, but Gabby has orchestrated much of this without Leyla realising.
From causing rows between Liam and Leyla and manipulating them into cancelling their plans, she even pretended she had been rejected by a boy in college to get Leyla to feel sorry for her.
Claiming to feel alone and like nobody wants her, she has piled on the sob story to get Leyla to spend pretty much all of her time with her.
With the scenes ongoing, many fans are a little worried that Gabby might be obsessed with Leyla, unsure where the plot is heading.
As many deemed her a "psycho" as she continued to meddle in her friend's life to keep her to herself, others predicted the true reason she could be trying to get Leyla alone all the time.
Taking to Twitter, several viewers predicted Gabby might be in love with Leyla and hoping to make a move on her.
