Opinion/Letter: Time to go low?

Sept. 24 -- To the Editor:

“Earn bonus points for triggering liberals.” That reportedly is the pitch being made on a Trump Facebook page to attract people to a Seacoast car caravan that is routed through so-called “liberal enclaves.”

Trigger liberals? Really? What a great idea for cutting down on the divisions plaguing our nation.

Oh wait. Division is the foundation of everything Trump does. Division. Hate. Ridicule. Racism. Narcissism. Greed.

I don’t know. But maybe Putin does. That’s what some people are saying. Good people. People who don’t want to “trigger” anybody. Maybe it’s time to “go low.” I'm just saying.
