THINGS TO MAKE OUR WORLD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE AND DO OUR PROJECT COMMUNITY INITIATIVE. WE GET TO HIGHLIGHT SOME OF THEM. SO TODAY WE WANT TO INTRODUCE YOU TO A THIRD GRADER FROM CLANTON WHO’S RECEIVED A LOT OF CARE OF CHILDREN’S OF ALABAMA AND NOW THIS COMMUNITY CHAMPION IS PAYING IT FORWARD. OKAY, OKAY. I ALREADY KNOW YOU’RE FINE. TODAY DEVON SCIPIO FEELS GREAT LEAVING CHILDREN’S OF ALABAMA WALKING AWAY WITH A METAL AROUND HIS NECK AND A CERTIFICATE IN HAND. THANK YOU FROM THE STAFF FOR HIS DONATION. $400 $400. THAT’S A LOT OF MONEY. THE EIGHT-YEAR-OLD ORGANIZED A FUNDRAISER TO GIVE BACK TO THE VERY PLACE. THAT’S HELPED HIM FEEL BETTER SINCE HE WAS A BABY AS FOR TO BUY RAFFLE TICKETS. WELCOME TO ME, TOO. GET A POUND CAKE. PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY PURCHASED A RAFFLE TICKET FOR THE CAUSE AS THEY CELEBRATED A BIG MILESTONE FOR DEVON. IT STARTED OUT HONESTLY SS LIKE A CELEBRATION FOR LIKE ONE YEAR NOT BEING HOSPITALIZED. AND OF COURSE, THIS IS LIKE A SELF-AWARENESS ONE SO IT WENT FROM THERE. I’M JUST LIKE, OKAY. WELL, HEY WHY NOT DO A FUNDRAISER AND WITH CRUSHED SICKLE-CELL MASKS AND SHIRTS ON FOR THE CAUSE. CANDACE AND DEVON ARE ADVOCATES FOR SPREADING AWARENESS ABOUT THE BLOOD DISORDER THAT CAN CAUSE PAIN INFECTIONS OR OTHER SERIOUS PROBLEMS LIKE A DISEASE THAT LIKE HURT YOU ANYMORE AND THAT ANYTHING DEVON AND HIS FAMILY KNOW CHILDREN’S OF ALABAMA. IS THERE WHEN NEEDED AND FOR THAT THEY’RE PAYING IT FORWARD. AND A GREAT JOB TO HIM. IT WAS SO GREAT TO MEET HIM TODAY. HE RAISED $400. ISN’T THAT ME A GOOD KID THERE AND WISH
