With the first general-election presidential debate set for Tuesday night, state polls are coming thick and fast. And perhaps none of them speak to how much President Trump has his work cut out for him than in Pennsylvania.

Two new polls released Monday — one from The Washington Post and ABC News and another from the New York Times and Siena College — show Trump trailing Joe Biden by nine points among likely voters. The margin is 54 percent to 45 percent in the Post-ABC poll and 49 percent to 40 percent in the Times-Siena poll.
