LUCKNOW: Most aspirants who appeared for Union Public Service Commission (Prelims) examination on Sunday in the city said that the question paper was more difficult than those of last years’. Many said the question paper was not what they expected and the pattern was different from previous years.
“Both the question papers were tough. I feel the difficulty level was raised as the examination was postponed and candidates had more time to prepare.
Only 2-3% of the questions were easy,” said Mausami Singh.
Another aspirant Shrishti Sinha said, “The general studies paper had questions from topics which I have not even heard of. There were more questions from agriculture as compared to current affairs. The questions from topics like environment, history, art and culture were not any easier.” While Covid-19 safety norms were followed at most centres, social distancing wasn’t followed at a few places in Aliganj and Gomtinagar.
