Rs 5-crore gym, yoga & sports centre for Bharuch

Bharuch: A gym and yoga centre complex along with indoor sports facilities will be built in Bharuch. Chief minister Vijay Rupani performed online Khat Muhurt of the Rs 4.92 crore project, which will be developed under the Swarnim Gujarat Urban Development Scheme.
Many such projects are on the anvil for various Nagarpalikas across the state.
“Rapidly developing industrial town of Bharuch needs such social infrastructure.The location of the gym and yoga centre is facing a giant lake known as Matariya talav, which gives an excellent view with clean air. The sports complex will be built in 13,650 sqm area. The centre will have various indoor and outdoor sports facilities like football, badminton, tennis, billiards, skating, volleyball, kho-kho, kabbadi courts. Enough space kept for parking and jogging track also,” said Dushyant Patel, MLA.
Large numbers of people in the city will be benefited from the facility which will house all modern instruments with audiovisuals facilities, excellent architectural design. Once constructed and operational, it will add an identity to Bharuch, the MLA added.
