Shocking visuals: Woman sets herself on fire allegedly over harassment by in-laws in Lucknow

A 35-year-old woman poured kerosene before setting herself on fire near gate number 2 of BJP headquarters on Vidhan Sabha Marg in Hazratganj on Tuesday. An alert constable nabbed and saved her. But she suffered serious burns and is currently admitted to civil hospital. Lucknow Police said that preliminary inquiry has revealed that she was being harassed by her in-laws in Maharajganj. The statement of the woman was yet to be recorded by the police.
