105 Covid cases in Noida, Ghaziabad reports 110

NOIDA/GHAZIABAD: Gautam Budh Nagar reported 105 new Covid cases on Tuesday, taking the total number of cases in the district to 15,188.
Among them, there are 1, 557 active patients in the district while 60 have succumbed to the virus. Also, 13,446 people have recovered from the disease so far.
According to the administrative officials, the district has 311 containment zones, out of which 287 containment zones are in category 1 and 24 containment zones are in category 2.
In the neighbouring district of Ghaziabad, 110 fresh Covid-19 cases were reported on Tuesday, taking the total tally to 16, 432. Along with this, 158 patients have been discharged in the past 24 hours. Total 14,840 people have recovered so far and there are only 1,512 active cases in the district. The patients are different hospitals across the district and some are in home isolation. The district has also reported 80 deaths due to the pandemic.
The recovery rate in Ghaziabad stands at 90.3% while the case fatality rate is 0.48%.
