The Mumbai city has reported 1,823 new COVID-19 cases after seeing a spike of over 2,000 for several days.
The increase in new patients have pushed its overall case count to 2.38 lakh
The recoveries also dropped to 1644, taking the number of discharged to 2.5 lakh.
Among those died, 33 had co-morbidities and 26 were above 60-years of age.
The city's recovery rate stands at 86 per cent and doubling rate at 82 days.
